A thorough canvass made last Sunday of rooms and lodgings open to students showed that there were still accomodations accomoda-tions for several. The girls basket ball team of the Castledale public school is practicing every day and will de ready for the Huntington girls as soon as they desire to send the challenge. Milton Olsen was a Dale visiter this week. Miss Lulu Bunnel is visiting in Mohrland. It is rumored Ephraim Wilcox has resigned the managership of the livery stable. ..Miss Laura Shiner left last week for Sunnyside. We wonder if it's real serious this time. Henry Day, who is employed at Black Hawk spent a few days with his relatives rel-atives this week. The road workers transferred their operations last Tuesday from the north road to that southward. The members of the E. S. A. faculty visited the surrounding towns last Sunday in the interests of education. Mrs. Rosenlove of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Nolson of Salt Lake City two sisters of George Brandon are visiting at Castledale this week with Mrs. Brandon. King Driggs who has been in Colorado this summer is expected today Mr. Driggs will be the music teacher in the Academy this winter.
