Show 55TH WEDOiNS ANNIVERSARY IS CELEBRATED AT FERRON Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hitchcock entertained enter-tained about fifty of their children, Sf'ind children and great-grand children together with Dr. and Mrs. Graham, !'ir. and Mrs. H. W. Curtic and some "f the most distinguished citizens of Ferron, at a wedding reception, it being the 55th anniversary of their wedding also Mrs. Hitchcock's seventy- second birthday. Mr. Hitchcock has recently passed the age of eighty years a"d is enjoying pretty good health. He was born in the church and is still a faithful latter-day saint and is the 0I1!y person living in Ferron who has seen the Prophet Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum. They have had twelve children and only three are living. They are Frank Hitchcock of Ferron; Wm. Hitchcock "f Clawson and Mrs. Melissa Burdick 'jfBoneta. Mr. and Mrs. Hitchcock have twenty seven grand-children and twenty-one great-grand-children. |
