Mrs. Chris Nelson presented her husband with a fine baby boy last week. A committee has been'canvassing the town the past tew days, taking up donations to procure seed for planting the lawns around the meeting house. Some work has heen done on the lot already. Quite a number of men have promised to work with teams hauling dirt, We hope they will stay with their bargain. Calvin Jensen and Thomas Allred are home from their stake missionary work. We appreciated the work of the elders in this town. Fruits of their labors can be seen by the increase in the number attending our meetings. We invite them to come again. Bro. Thomas Chester, our janitor, while building fires in the meeting house last Sunday received some severe burns about the face and hand. He mistook gasoline for coa1 oil and poured the gasoline on coals. It immediately exploded. Quite a number of our people including includ-ing the choir, attended the funeral services of Vernon Christensen at Molen last Saturday. They all expressed express-ed themselves as having had very good meeting. The comforting words of Bro. Dyches and Bro. Hickman of the E. S. A. were highly appreciated. |
