Show PRIMARY ASSOCIATION TO HOLD BIC FAIR The local Primary' association officers are working hard for the sue .-ess of a a big fair they purpose holding during the latter part of September or first of October. A large number of prizes are offered by local people for the best articles and exhibits of various kinds. Prizes of one dollar each will be given for the best article made in each of the five higher classes and 50c each to those of the four classes of the first and second grades. Also one dollar for best pair of knit stockings by any child; one dollar for best and largest exhibit of any one child; one dollar for best exhibit exhi-bit by any officer or teacher; one dollar for best dress, offered by A. J. King; best modeled clay horse, box bon-bons, Dea Jensen; best - water color sketch from nature, $10 painting, J. W. Johnson; John-son; best embroidered centre piece, dollar dol-lar hairbrush, Sam Snow; best sofa cushion, dollar picture, Elva Seely; best white underskirt and best wood comb case, 5l)c each, Mrs. O. Sorenson; best pens of rabbits and chickens, 50c each, Edmund Crawford; best completely dressed doll, dollar, Mrs. Tolboe; best common haying tool, 50c, Bishop Ake-lund; Ake-lund; best child's embroidered flannel petticoat, 10 to 12 years, dollar, Mary Oregerson. |
