Trviiv ! -.y, ir:!y -:r':-r no'i i, Mrs. Bailey of Ferron, was the victim of a near-fatal accident when a horse ran away taking the buggy, of which she was the lone occupant, careening down the sidewalk. Mrs. Bailey's daughter, Mrs. King of Clawson. had alighted from the rig in front of the Douglass store, and proceeded pro-ceeded to tie up, using the rein for the pusnose. Her .1. ether had not yet a-lighted a-lighted when the horse broke away and tore down the sidewalk, not stopping in its mad rush until it ran into a tree, the jolt throwing the lady to the ground : with terrific force just without the A-cord A-cord home. She was immediately taken to the home of Dr. Coleman where it was discovered dis-covered that she had sustained a badly strained back, a sprained ankle and mi- nor scratches and bruises. Doctor Cole- j man escorted the ladies to their home in his auto and at last report Mrs. Bailey Bail-ey was getting along nicely. |
