Show Softbaii League To Open Play Monday Logan 4 Six Teams To May 24, Two items of importance concerning golf play were announced today by Bus Howard, tournament chairman of the Logan Golf and Country club. First bit of news is for ladies of the local course. On Thursday they will have a bogey hole tournament and putting contest. Prizes for the month will also be awarded at the monthly guest luncheon, . which will be held Thursday. Defending Chump If a defending league champion could be designated, it would be the Grants Bike aggregation. Grants will be composed chiefly of the same players that walked off with top honors last season. There will be two halves played before the season is concluded. Each team will play others twice each half, thus making a total of 20 games for one club during the schedule. All games will be played at night, on the 7, 8 and 9 oclock hours. The city softball loop is under the sponsorship of the Logan City Recreation department. There will be no charge whatsoever for soft-ba- ll games this year.
