Show THE 12 Demonstration of a Bright Idea College Livestock lops Blackfoot Fair Hereford and shorthorn cattle exhibited by the Department of Animal Husbandry of Utah State Agricultural college were heavy winners at the Eastern Idaho State Fair just concluded at Blackfoot, Ida., according to Dr. Louis L. Madsen, department head. In all, the college won four firsts and two seconds out ofta possible six places. The USAC Hereto) d entries included Blue Bonnett Domino 108th,1 senior yearling heifer, who was awarded 1st place and Reserve Champion female and USAC Miss Advance Domino who was the 1st prize junior calf. In the Shorthorn division the new college sire Roanridge Major Mercury won first in class and was named Grand Champion while Costly Lily was made Reserve champion female. The college also showed first and second respectively on their yearling and junior yearling heifer calves. Dr. Madsen commented that the grand champion bull and the two reserve champion females were part of a group of cattle purchased for the college through th?
