H. Johnson and G L H.igley Lum was served and a program and business meeting held. The program consisted of reports fiom the delegates in attendant at the district convention and from the committee chairman. New officers of the club were installed with Dr J. M Godfrey in i harge of the installation ceremony. LcRoy C. Funk, president; H. F. Olsen, first Roy Christensen, second vice president; J. R. Johnson, L'lyess Ivan Christensen Lewis, and Noah Woodland, directors; C. r B Johnson, director, and W. H. Nivison, secretary-treasureBrief responses were made by past president O L. Ballam and Funk by president-elec- t Special guests were Mr and Mrs Vean Bair of Roosevelt, Utah, where Mr. Bair is first of the Roosevelt Lions club Mr. and Mrs Bryan Hendricks are spending the week at Lava Hot Springs. The Isaac Smith family reunion was held last Saturday at the Richmond Park school with one hundred twenty in attendance. Fred Smith Jr. was in charge. A basket lunch was served at noon and a program followed. The welcome address was given by Joseph Smith of Weston. Other numbers on the program consisted of a piano selection, Miss Merlene Smith; reading, Miss Aletha Smith of Lewiston; reading, Mrs. L. O. Sorensen; instrumental and vocal musical numbers, Seth Christensen; song, Gilda Gray; trio, Mesdames Lucille, Leora and Lona Smith; humorous paper, Mrs. Garnet Cornish; tap dancing, Miss Virginia Waite and pupil. The remainder of the afternoon was spent playing softball. A dance concluded the reunion in the evening. Dr. and Mrs. Ariel Merrill and children Joan and Gill of Salt Lake City visited in Richmond with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Merrill, last Saturday and Sunday. Other visitors at the Merrill home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. Merrill and son Junior of Preston, and Mrs. Hazen Bright and children of Lewiston. The Aloha club members and Mrs. Ruby Albiston were entertained on Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. LaVene Galbraith. Luncheon and bridge were features of the party. Mrs. Mardene Traveller won the high score at bridge and Mrs. Zelda Stoddard won the low score. Mr. and Mrs Cecil Sharp of Salt Lake City called at the home of Mrs. LaVerna Robinson on Thursday enroute home from a vacation trip to Yellowstone national park. Masters Stephen and Louis Bright of Lewiston spent a few days of the past week here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Merrill. The Bon Heur club and their partners enjoyed a party on Friday evening at the park with Mrs. Alba Webb, Mrs. Irene Stoddard, Mrs. Christina Merrill, and Mrs. Nellie Bagley as hostess. Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. W. F. From there they went to Buffalo and Niagra Falls where they viewed the electrical display at night. They reached New York City July 1 and were given a free trip to the fair. They will remain in New York until July 12 when the boat sails for South America, arriving at their headquarters in Brazil about July 26. Mr. and Mrs. Bussell Bradford and family left Monday on a vacation trip to Yellowstone park. Miss Maxine Anderson returned home last week from Boise where she underwent a major operation and received medical attention at a Boise hospital the past month. Mrs. Bart Nash attended the funeral services of Mrs. Sophia Williams at Ashton Friday.
