The show will be the climax of the present hoop season. The bitterness of rivalry which has marked these two schools athletic relations in the past is expected to bring out the hardest-fough- t game of the year. Although the Aggies have been forced to bow to Utah on the grid field, the Blue and White team has showed its supremacy on the court during the past decade, and it intends to uphold this supremacy this week. But it will be more than a battle between two great teams. It will be a fight between two great for- wards for conference scoring hon- ors. At the present time. Floyd Morris, who will undoubtedly make selection, and every who is termed by observers and teammates as one of the most brilliant basketball players ever to represent Utah State, is running a tight race with Nick Watts, Utah forward, for circuit scoring honors. Floyd Draws Spotlight However, Floyd has an excellent chance of retaining the lead, the fact must not be overlooked that Watts scored 24 points Saturday against Denver, and is but 8 points behind Floyd now. Fans will be interested in seeing the famous Morris brother boost his 151 total by 20 points in the game Friday. Coach Dick Romney, veteran Aggie head coach, is more than normally concerned about Fridays contest. If his charges can overcome the rugged Utah, team, he can consider the season well spent with a runnerup berth in the conference assured. After all, it is no disgrace to finish second to the great Colorado Buffaloes and to hold the only victory registered in the conference against the Frosty Cox The Aggies whipped champions. Braddock, former heavyweight King, and his manager, Joe Gould. In this breach of contract suit, Braddock and Gould claim Jacobs owes them 20 per cent of the net profits of the nine heavyweight title fights staged since Braddock lost the title to Joe Louis at Chicago in June, 1937. They estimated the profits at about $600,000. Jacobs smilingly dismissed the suit as follows: Its so ridiculous its a joke. Im surprised at the boys tryin to stick me up like this. Its so silly Im gettin a pain in my side from laffin. Ill talk more about it later after Ive 'inferred with my attorneys. But it was no laughing matter with Braddock and Gould.
