Hendricks. The program consisted of the following numbers: Good Will to Men, a Christmas reading, flute solo by Ray Pauli, Come and Worship by choir, Christmas talk by Mayor j. C. Forsgren. ladies quartet, solo by Mrs. W. H. Simmons, instrumental by the Barton family. Lift Up the Voice in Singing by the choir. Dr. and Mrs. A. R. Cutler motored to Salt Lake City Friday and returned Saturday with their son, Allen, Jr., who is a senior at the University of Utah. The Clifton ward auxiliary organizations cooperated Friday to stage a community celebration to secure funds for the ward budget. The events began at noon with a lunch sale at the chapel for the school students. The sale will continue throughout the year. Following this sale lunches were sold to the general public. A program tool: place in the recreation hail under the direction of the bishopric. A children's dunce and bazaar took place during the afternoon. Concluding the day's activities was a ward dance at the new high school gymnasium. Thursday evening in the new Fran! ni stake tabernacle a banquet .. a served, purpose of which was to raise funds for payment of the building. The affair was under the direction of the First ward Relief Society. The MIA was in charge of the program. Toastmaster was Attorney Wooley of Ogden. His theme was Peace". Music was furnished by the Preston Glee club under the direction of Harold Swift, by the "Charmaids under the direction of Mrs. A. G. Carlson, vocal solo by Lyle Shipley. About 155 couples attended. The evening was spent in dancing. At five dollars per couple for the banquet, the committee was delighted with the fund received.
