PITZEB Society Editor Call 50 NEWS NOTES OF INTEREST TO WOMEN Bridge Dinner RIJDY SPENDING VACATION IN PACIFIC BUNGALOW FOR TWO At Hovey Al Surprise Home Social Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Hovey presided at an attractively appointed bridge dinner at their home on the boulevard Thursday evening, runner was served from one large table and one small one. Each was graced with a fragrant bouquet of bright yellow daffodils. Bridge followed dinner and the high score prize was awarded to Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Hayward. The all cut prize was won by Mr. G. A. Lindquist. Twelve guests were included. Mrs. Mattie B. Hansen, was th honored guest at a pleasantly ar-ranged surprise party given a her home Thursday afternoon bv a of friends and group neighbors. Singing and visiting were enjoyed during the afternoon after which dainty refreshments were served. Those included in the party were Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. Morgan Blair, Mrs. John H. Anderson, Mrs. W liam Hodges. Mrs. Abe Tyson. Mrs George Q. Rich. Mrs. I'. C. Nelson. Mrs. Charles Goodsell, Mrs. C. M. VVesterholm was hostess to members of her club and several special guests at a bridge tea at her home Thursday afternoon. Following the bridge games a dainty lunch was served. Patricks novelties and colors were carried out in the table decorations. Covers were marked for twelve. Following dinner the remainder of the evening was spent playing bridge.
