Bridge Supper Miss Ruth Baer entertained the members of her club at a prettily appointed bridge supper Friday evening at the Bluebird. A low bowl filled with pink feathery carnations formed the table center-piecGolden laeey baskets filled with valentine candies were at the place of each guest as a favor. All were of Valentine appointments motif. Special guests were Mrs. Mae Peterson, Mrs. Ernest Earl, Miss Lottie Batkin and Miss Eva Baxter. The evening was spent play ing Whist. The high score prize was won by Miss Phyllis Baugh. The following Relief Society programs have been announced for Tuesday afternoon: First ward. Meeting will begin at 2:30 o'clock and the lesson will be on social service work. Mrs. Ada England will be in charge. Fifth Ward. The meeting will commence at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Joseph A. Geddes will be in charge of the social service lesson. Mrs. Nettie Dames will talk on habit formation which is included in the social service lesson. A good attendance is desired. Sixth Ward. Social service work will be conducted by Mrs. N. A Larson. Meeting will begin at 2 p. m. Ninth Ward. The social service Our Habits, lesson, "Improving will be given with Mrs Eva Jacobsen in charge. Eleventh Ward. Meeting will begin at 2:30 p. m. "Personality Study" and Improving Our Habits" will be the lesson for the afternoon. Mrs. A. H. Thompson, class leader, will be in charge. A discussion will follow with the class members taking part. Musical numbers will be furnished by the choir. J Sorosis Alumni Bridge Tea Includes Eight There will be a special business alumni meeting of the Sorosis Monday evening at 8 oclock at the chapter house. All members are asked to be present. Saturday evening a social was held for the alumni group at the home of Miss Ruth Smith. Cards and visiting were enjoyed, after which refreshments were served. Assisting Miss Smith as hostess were Mrs. George Torgeson, Mrs. Joseph Carlisle and Miss Afton Thain. Mrs. W. H. Peterson was hostess at an attractively arranged bridge tea at her home Saturday afternoon. A delicious luncheon was served following the bridge games. The guests were seated at one large table centered with a peas. Pink tapers were placed at silver bowl of pink and red sweet the ends. Covers were marked for eight guests.
