Kenneth Wiser has returned home from a local hospital where he underwent an appendicitis operation. The old folks amusement committee is busy with a combination ward reunion and, old fobs party to be held in the ward chapel Friday at 12 noon. The 60honored years guests include all over of age, widows and widowers, and special invitations are extended to church and ward officials. After dinner, a varied and interesting program of music and the North Logan players will present "Where Was Gram When the Lights Went Out. A dance in the evening will conclude the days festivities. The following committee is in charge: Mr. and Mrs. James Chambers, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra J. Palmer and Mr. and Mrs. George W. Maughan. A farewell testimonial was held Friday night in the ward amusement hall for John Follett, son of O. A. Follett who will leave soon for the L. D. S. California mission. A varied and interesting program was carried out during the evening. Dancing followed the program. Mr. and Mrs. Orion Follett entertained a group of friends at a luncheon party at their home Friday evening following a dancing party in compliment to John Follett, who is leaving soon for California. John Follett was the honored guest at a home party given at the home of Miss Anna Nyman Monday night. The evening was spent 20 YEARS OF ILL socially with games and music. Refreshments were served to 35 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Orion Follett were host and hostess at a prettily appointed family dinner, Friday night at their home in compliment to John Follett, who is leaving for California in the near future Covers were laid for about 15 guests. A social evening of music and visiting followed dinner. In observance of Scout anniversary week a special court of honor was held Sunday night in the ward chapel and presented a program of speech and demonstrations. Awards were presented to Scouts. The program was in charge of George D. Clyde, court of honor chairman and Fred Duce, district commissioner. Mrs. Ezra J Palmer is visiting at Blackfoot. Miss Zella Beuhler of Malad is visiting with relatives. Miss Lillian Ferguson of Preston spent the week-en- d as guest of Miss Marie Maughan. Mrs. Hilda Morns of Hyrum is spending the month with Mr and Mrs. Bert Burrell. Ms. Ralph Jenson and Mrs Roy Holmgren of Bear River City spent the week end with relatives. James Bullock, local manager of the Utah Power and Light company was the speaker for the occasion.
