Stanford, who were observing their Golden Wedding anniversary, were the honored guests at an enjoyable wedding reception given Tuesday evening at the home of their son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. J. S. Stanford at their home on Seventh w, East. The afternoon and evening passed pleasantly, enlivened by songs, recitations composed for tlie reminiscences, occasion, and screen pictures. A bounteous dinner was served at one large table centered with a large cake holding fifty candles. All appointments were in gay Christmas colors. Covers were marked for fifteen guests. C. J. Stanford came to Logan with his parents in 1861, from Boston, where he was born in He has since lived in 1357. Salt Lake City, Carey, Idaho, and southern California. Mrs. Stanford was born In Salt Lake City in 1861 and has lived in the west her entire life. Mr. and Mrs. Stanford moved from southern California to Logan, in April, 1931. Three of their five children live in Logan, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Stan lord and four children, Mrs. Pearl S. Adamson and two daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Mazel G. Stanford, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Cooper and children and Mr. and Mrs. William D. Richards and children live in Carey, Idaho.
