Translated from Italian, Tango Familia means 1 support the family" and that is what "Over the River" is all about Unlike the familiar children's song, there is no woods and no snow or a horse that knows the way. But there is Nick, the grandson of four doteing grandparents who happen to also be best friends and live down the street from each appreciate until its about to be taken away from him as he contemplates moving away, much to the frustration of his elders. And there the story takes its amusing twists as the Grandparents set about to give Nick a reason to stay nearby and Nick falls into their grandparently spell. While Nick is sure that "They suck you in with the food," the Grandparents know that "It doesn't matter how old they get, you still want to take care of them." "Over the River" is a story that young and old can relate to, can hope for, can remember and can dream of for the future. Guaranteed to bring as many laughs as tears and makes you want to go home and hug someone and call an extended family member, if only just to remember what it is like to belong to a family. What makes "Over the River" even more enjoyable is the casting of a red family. In the Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday cast, Nunzio, Emma and Nick are played by Richard Wilkins, his wife Melany Wilkins and their son Brin ton Wilkins, respec- - tively. They are joined by Clara Susan Morey as Aida and Willliam Bisson as Frank and Adrien Swenson as Nick's date Caitlin. The double cast features Drian Alita to Nick on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, joined by Walt Price as Frank, Linda Garay as Aida, Tom Stam as Nunzio, Vicki Pugmire as Aida and Jocelyn Hansen as Caitlin. "Over the River and Through the Woods" continues through Oct 19 at 8 p.m. with Saturday matinees at noon and 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.50 for adults. For reservations call 984-900- 0.
