Cyprus was handed road losses to Olympus and Woods Cross. Olympus nearly edged Cyprus 71 - 66 on Feb. 12 in Salt Lake City and Woods Cross downed Cyprus 59 - 44 on Feb. 15. With the consecutive road losses, the Cyprus boys varsity basketball record slipped to 3 -9 in 2002 Region 5 action. Only 2 regular season games remain to be played this week. Opponents are Bountiful on Feb. 19 in Magna and Murray away on Feb. 21. n state playoffs are not a factor this year.
