The outline was submitted in It was reviewed by the States Educational United Japanese Commission, with a multitude of other applicants from every state in December. the union. Bandeka was notified on Jan. 29 by the JUSEC that her school was selected as a recipient. The requirements for receiving for North American Wild Sheep (FNAWS), which has worked with the Division of Wildlife Resources to increase Utahs wild sheep population. The FNAWS helps promote the welfare of wild transplant 117 sheep; the goal for this year is 137. This transplant will comprise Utahs second California bighorn population. In March 1997, 23 California bighorn sheep were sheep in Utah and has traditionally raised upwards of $200,000 a year for wildlife projects in the Last year, they helped state. and there are plans to move approximately 10 of them to the Newfoundlands sometime this winter. The Newfoundland Mountains project is another step in achieving the goal of putting wild sheep back into moved from British Columbia to Antelope Island State Park. Hillside Elementary will work with Hanamaki Elementary School, Hanamaki, Japan on a Weather and Climate Change theme. Through technology, each school will share, report, and draw conclusions about weather in their prospective regions. Students will read current weather conditions, forecast weather and collect data for comparison. They will also communicate their information to their Japanese coun the world.
