Purves will represent Utah in this years game played in Chicago. Purves will join 20 other All Star selections in a game against last years IHL champions the Chicago Wolves, on Jan. 15. The Grizzlies captain will be making his third all star appearance in a row when he laces up his skates for the game. Purves has been named to the All Star team six times during his IHL career. Purves leads the Grizzlies with nine goals and 13 assists. John has been the heart of this team over the past three sea- sons, said Grizzlies president Tim Mouser.
