The Warriors will now get ready to enter the state 5A playoffs with their first round game against the 15-- 5 Brighton Bengals. Against the Cougars the Warriors used a bal- anced scoring attack with Nathanael Paynter leading the way with 1 1 points, followed by Nick Barton who scored 8. Ryan Klein help out Taylorsville by scoring 7 points while Ryan Fiiipe added 6. The Cougars were led by Coby Nowers who led all scorers with 1 4 points, followed by Chris Stevenson who scored 9 and Matt Vigil who added 8. The Cougars finished the year with a 8 region record. 3-- Riverton Upends Grander In FUal Region Contest The Riverton Silverwolves upended the Granger Lancers 76-6- 6 in the final region game for both clubs. The loss sends the Lancers into the first round of the state playoffs against powerhouse Cottonwood.
