Surely we can find something to occupy some of the time they spend on the street The sum total of activity is an occasional show, most of them spend some time in church and a little swimming. To think of all the happy hours it has meant to the ones who have played on its swings and slides or enjoyed a picnic on its cool, shaded lawns or participated in any of the wonderful good times held there, should make us all starting thinking about the future of OUR park. We had occasion to attend a picnic at the Copperton Park and were very much impressed by its beauty. The trees were of every variety and the lawns were beautifully kept There were not any cars allowed in the park at any time. I heard that this park was also owned by Kennecott in the past, but, like ours, was given to the town. I wonder how they maintain it so well? I also wonder why we couldnt do something as a Community for our Park. I woiTder what we could do? A Friend of the Town 3. 4. 5. 6. years.
