In other words, more than 57 per cent of the tests made showed a higher bacteria count than allowed by the health laws of the state. Some milk dealers complaned about the test. They claim that the health officer who secured the simplc3 didnt take the necessary precautions to deliver the milk to the tester in the best condition. We dont know to what extent this complaint is justified, but we dont believe that any health officer purposely neglected to take steps to safeguard the camples. The dealers also say that omitting to publish the names of the dairies with the respective test results is an injustice ta those dealers whose milk shows a low bacteria count. We agree with them on that complaint, and are glad to know that this will b? rectified in the future by the city health office. u, -, Hattie Currycomb of Trenton, The announcement Friday of Dr. E. L.
