Vermont Nelson of Hunter, became the bride of Mc- Kay Johnson, Saturday evening in a ceremony performed at the home of her parents. Bishop Wendell Jones of the Hunter Second Ward officiated. That evening, the newly weds were honored at a reception at the Hunter Ward house. Assisting with greeting guests were parents, of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson; the bridegroom's mother, Mr3. Clayola Johnson, Aurora, and the bridegroom's brother, Royce Johnson. For her wedding, the bride chose a waitz-lengt- h gown of Chantilly lace and peau de soie. The lace bodice yvith tinted sequins and pearls, featured short sleeves and a scalloped neckline. Lace appliques highlighted the bouffant skirt. A tiara of paarls caught her veil of sheerest illusion. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations surrounded by white carnations.
