Women Hste Importsnt Role Won.cn must play an important part in the warden service. This is especially true of housewives, for mot women are at their horn posts day and night. Usually they know their own neighborhood better than men ran ever know them. Women should interest themselves in the warden service as first step in the organization of civil defense for their neighborhoods. Outstanding men and women who can assume responsibility are urged to volunteer for the warden service. (The next article will discus other civil defense sc --vices.) FISHING HIGHLIGHTS With the opening df the high Uintah and Escalante Mountain Haters this early spring, the Utah tiout season started in full swing for 1953. Anglers are cautioned that high water and general late conditions in the high can be expected Uintah section as a result of the late advent of spring weather this year. Latest reports indicate that roads and trails into the Mirror Lake Basin and other sections will be open. However, most will be wet as will many of the favorite camp grounds in the high country. Sportsmen planning trips into this place on the following weekend should check with the forest service regarding conditions to be expected in the particular area they plan to visit. The same angling regulations apply for these late opening waters as for the rest of the state's streams and still waters.
