Such might well be the title of the above picture taken a few miles to the cast of the town of Eureka, Utah, in the Tintlc mining district, showing the surface plant of the North Lily Mining company. Below is a crew of happy miner coming off shift. Prior to 1926, this region was Just barren wasteland. It was regarded as good prospect ground and for iars considerable prospecting had been done in the area on a small scale. Owing to the great depth of the ore bodies none of the smaller prospecting companies were able to bring their work to a successful conclusion. It remained for the International Smelting & Refining company, which spends largo sums yearly in development work to make the North I.lly into a producer. Since mining much of the original ore body, the North Lily In recent years has devoted Ita efforts toward adjacent ground. Work Is now being eondueted In the adjoining Eureka Bullion and Tintlc t Bullion properties from the level of the North Lily shaft. North Lily is one of the newer mines of the Tintic District and the company now is one of the largest property owners In the region. The company Is still producing on a small scale, and Is concentrating on a systematic campaign of de WANT-A- DS WHITE LILY FREEZER SPECIALS!
