The waffle knit construction holds cells of warm air next to the body. The next item of wear is the wool shirt, which is followed by heavy trousers, a heavy wool sweater and, on a mild day, an Insulated jacket Cold days require a heavy insulated parka with the head covered with a wool-lin- e cap with, flaps that protect the foielxcad, ears and the nape of the neck. Teen-Ager- s, Then Complain of Behavior Does today! teen-age- r really have it so good A lot of adults seem to think so. They are always talking about with few chores to do around how easy life is for todays teen-agethe modern house, with plenty of spending money in his pockets, with top priority on the family car or a car of his own to drive, with rlothes designed for teen-ag- e appeal, with something doing all the time, with more freedom than kids that age have ever had before. They have it easy, all right. But that doesnt necessarily mean that they have it so good. The adults who have pampered and spoiled them and are re-- , sponsible for their having so much aren't on the best of terms with r, s. the while Pop is handing Junior as much money to spend in an evening as Pop, at the same age, had to spend in a month, he is reminding his son of the fact. And when Junior seems bored with the comparison, Pop gets Irritated. Then, though Junior has his pocket full of money, he also has the distinct impression that his father has a pretty low opinion of him. All THEYRE CATERED TO has a closet full of pretty clothes, far more than she needs. But Mom doesnt let her forget that they cost nioie than the family can afford. So Sis is made to feel selfish and demanding, even while her selfishness Is being catered to. Sure, Mom and Pop do the work around the house and yard while the kids are off having a good time. But they do it resentfully. They havent the backbone to say, You stay home and do your share of the work. But that doesn't keep them from blaming the kids for being lazy and irresponsible. And every time a teen-age- r gets In trouble, these same parents who are letting their own kids run wild look at them like strangers and wonder what they're doing when they are away from home The kids sense the distrust, and they resent it. So we have two worlds the teen-ag- e world and the adult world. And while the teen-agmay seem to be having a high old time In his owm little world, underneath he is often lonely and frightened, lie senses the antagonism of adults and doesnt know that they are really mad at themselves for turning him loose in an irresponsible teen-ag- e world, instead of making him a rontnbutng member of the Sis er family. j Mondav Caller Mis Btvce Eniksen visited Mr. and Mrs Joseph A Er ck-se- n Mondav.
