Mrs. Sadie Bullock Holt of Canada has returned to Provo after a sixteen-year absence, and is now visiting with her mother, Mrs. Emma Bullock, and relatives. Friday evening she was the incentive of a large entertainment given by th Bullock relations at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Beesley. Fall flowers and fo-- i liage prevailed throughout the Beesley home. During the evening games and an impromptu program, in which nil participated, was enjoyed, after which a delicious luncheon was served to fifty. Mrs. Fred C. Cassity will be hostess to the members of the Tres Joli dub at her home on Thursday afternoon. The time will be spent with needle work and musical numbers, during which luncheon wrill be served. The members of the Provannas club will be the guests of Mrs. Parley Dixon at her home Thursday afternoon, next. Needle work, musical numbers and luncheon will be the diversions. All club members are urged to be In attendance. U. ladles gymnasium, when the members of the Mack club entertained the student body of the institution at a novelty ball. ' Upon arriving the participants were made up to represent a variety of humorous characters. The time was pleasantly spent in dancing. A large attendance of students was present. ? ... Mrs. Horace Curtis of Douglas, Arizona, is a Provo visitor during the week. Mrs. Douglas will remain in Utah during the winter months, making her home in Payson. Mrs. W .B.
