Show CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MEMBERS URGE SUPPORT , i ' , & j ' r The board of directors of the Chamber of Commerce have placed full confidence in the pledges of itsmembers and have contracted certain, obligations in the interest of Provos development. These obligations must be met. An examination of the records show that many of our business interests and members are delinquent in their dbes. We, as citizens interested in the growth and development of Provo and Utah county, do therefore urgently appeal to all delinquent members to come, at once, to ,the support of the directors in order that the Chamber of Commerce may continue in active operation. So much important work for this community has been commenced during the past year that we feel it would be disastrous to the progress of our county to let it drop now." To keep abreast of the times and follow up these important enterprises can be done only with your support. The question now is, Shall we continue or discontinue our Chamber of Commerce? Such a splendid foundation has tieen laid through the activities of the directors the past year, that we think the least we can do is to give them our loyal support, ii we fail to do this now, much of their effort will have been in vain. Now that we are on the eve of great industrial activity and development, a live, active Chamber of Commerce is indispensible. When these matters were called to our attention and the financial condition of the Chamber of Commerce wa thoroughly discussed, we felt to lend our names to this appeal to all delinquent members to come forward and makef heir pledges good by paying their dues, V In the interest of a bigger and better Provo, we are, , . ! -- . , j O.
