Show Local Man Enjoys Trip to Florida ' Clarence A. Rasmusen, district agent for the Bankers' Life company Of Des Moines, Iowa, returned this week from 'the company's convention and three days' school at St. Augustine, Fla. Mr. Rasmusen- and L. T. Epperson, of Provo, together with the state manager, D. L. Filer of Salt Lake, were the only men in the state to qualify for the trip, 'which is given as a bonus to men writing business to the amount of $200,000. Mr.' Rasmusen states that the, trip was one well worth working for.' Florida, he states, is delightful at this season of the year. Bohemian violinist; Esther Lueila. Lash, American - soprano, and Margaret Gary,' American pianiste, who appeared in concert at the Provo high school yesterday afternoon, proved to be a pleasing trio of capable artiste, Mr,' Konecny was especially well received by the large audience of high school boys and girls, who listened carefully to the sweet strains that the artist drew from his violin. Mr. Konecny entered into the spirit of the music appreciation program of the school and paused long enough to announce his numbers ahd explain briefly, some of the characteristics of the authors of the different . . numbers. Esther Luella Lash took pains to make her program of' songs conform to a standard that could be understood and appreciated by the youngsters, who encored roundly whenever the lady finished a group Of her splendid selections.
