The days program will open at 9 a. m., when the citizens of Provo will assemble at Pioneer park to do honors to Provos heroes who paid the supreme sacrifice in the World war in order that Americas ideals might be perpetuated. These services will open by a selection by the Provo band. Mrs. L. C. Potter, president of the Provo Service Star Legion, will deliver a short address. On behalf of the American Legion, Captain J. B. Tucker will give a talk. Following this the parade will be formed as follows: Color guard: Provos two remaining Civil war veterans, A. F. Mossman and W. C. Roberts; Gold Star war mothers, Ladies of the G. A. R Womens Relief coFps, Ladies of the Circle, disabled World war veterans, Service Star Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Womens Municipal Council, Provo fire department, Daughters of the Mormon Battalion, Provo Lodge of Elks, Provo Rotary club, Provo club, Provo Chamber of Commerce and other civic and fraternal organizations of the city, Boy Scout band, Provo Boy Scouts. Claude Ashworth will be marshal of the day. The line of march will be from Pioneer park east to University avenue, thence south and east to the City cemetery. At the cemetery services will be held with Mayor O. K. Hansen acting as master of ceremonies. Invocation will be offered by the Rev. Charles McCoard. Music will be furnished by the Provo band and a mixed double quartet. Major King, an officer in the 145th Wesley field artillery during the World war, will be the orator of the day. Following his address the band will play the national air and the members of the battery will fire a salute using the French 75 guns.
