"We hear a great deal said about having a business administration. Inasmuch as running a city Is a business proposition, It is that business methods must be employed. It Is a very diversified business, however, and being such, It Is hardly thinkable that any one man could monopolise the process. Business efficiency, whether In private or public, la greatly a personal matter, and I am not making any noise about any business successes or failures. I am a professional man; but will hardly admit that I am devoid of business instinct. Regardless of the outcome of this contest I shall always appreciate the fact that among my most ardent supporters I can count no small number of Provos substantial business men. I will concern myself vitally in the material progress of Provo, such as Increasing payrolls; but while doing this I will not lose sight of the tact that, the greatest asset of any community is its boys 'and girls. These must be considered, and It will be my purpose to make their environment as favorable as possible for the development of real men and women. To this end wholesome amusements and recreation should be provided. When however. Young of Pleasant View, died yesterday afternoon at the family home following a week's illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Young was born In Provo May 11, 1859, the daughter of Isaac and Margaret Hduston Nelson, and had lived here all her life. In 1889 she married Jacob A. Young and has since made her home In Pleasant View ward. She Is survived by her husband, three sons,' Fred J.. Verner A and George H., all of Provo; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Isaac Nelson, John Nelson and David Nelson all of Provo; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Peery, Mrs. James Fisher, Mrs. Fannie Wells, and Mrs. John Vincent, all of Provo. Funeral services will be held in the Pleasant View ward meeting house tomorrow afternoon at 3 oclock.'
