Commercial and Savings bank, has just received telegraphic confirmation from the war finance corporation, Washington, bf his' appointment as a member of the agrlrul-tura- l loan advisory committee, which committee will have headquarters at Salt Lake and pass upon applications for agricultural loans from Utah and southern Idaho. The position is one that carries a great responsibility, and Mr. Farrers appointment Is without doubt in recognition of his long training in financial matters. The personnel of the advisory committee is comprised of Edward O. Howard, president of Walker Brothers bankers, chairman; C. S. Burton, Salt Lake City; J. E.
