Show THE PROVO POST TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 1919 FOUR Used Car Sale Here This Week SOCIETY Friday evening the members of the Sixth ward and a number of, other Interested friends were given a treat when the Primary association presented the operetta "The Fire Drake." The elaborate costumes were furnished by Mrs. Walter Christensen who also assisted the Primary suu ers with the stage direction. Miss Mary Mortimer worked very hard and faithfully directing the music till on the evening of the production the singing and dancing was a triumph of rythm, harmony and grace. Seventy children portrayed the story of the Kings Court where commotion reigned through the news that a fire drake was Infesting the kingdom with flames. Of the three princes the youngest was the hero in killing the drake and winning the love of a Spanish maid in the end. The Stage settings were beautife and the entertainment was a tremendous success from very viewpoint. . Mrs. John C, Swenson was a Lake City visitor yesterday. -- Suffered Five Yeans Gains Thirty-fiv- e Pounds by Taking Tanlac "Ill tell the world that thip Tan- lac comes nearer doing all that is claimed for than any medicine 1 ever saw in toy' life, said Otto Zangg, a well known carpenter and builder whoJives at 1535 Pleasant Ave, Lot Angeles, Qal, the other day. "I have tried a good many different medicines during the past five years, continued Mr. Zanng, blt Tanlac la the only one that has measured up to its recomendatlon, and is the only thing that has done me good at alL 1 suffered from stomach, trouble, and everytlme I ate anything I would be all bloated up with gas for. noun afterwards. I was so nervous that I never got a good nights sleep, and Just kept getting worse until 1 was forced to give up my work altogether. In fact, I was in such a bad fix that I was not able to get about very much; Everytlme I saw a medicine advertised as being good for any kind of trouble, I would get it and try it, but I didn't get any benefits from any of it. Well, when Tanlac came along I thought I might as well give that a trial, too, so 1 bought a bottle and commenced taking It I really laughed when I first heard about Tanlac, for I thought It would be like all the refct, but I want to tell you that Tense fooled me, for It Just simply knocked my troubles right out, and I am as well and hearty now as I ever was. ' , GIVEUP WORK A motor car event that will undoubtedly prove of great Interest in this section of the country, as well as in other cities of the state will be the jpeclal sale of used cars to be held in four different citlep this week by the Hotter ill AutonuVbiie company pf Salt Lake. Besides the special sale in Salt Lake there will be a used car display in Provo, Ogden and Murray, and it is doubtful if there ever was such, a sale put on in four different cities simultaneously by the same firm. - The-aa- le of used cars in Provo. Ogden and Murray is to commence Wednesday and will run until next Saturday night, the Botterill company having arranged with its representatives here, A B. Worsley and the Superior Motor company, to make a special display of used cars which will be sent down from the Botterill company's State street store in Salt Lake City. In Salt Lake City the sale will begin Monday and run throughout the entire week. The Botterill company la sending a special salesman to Provo, Ogden and Murray to conduct the sale at those points. In explaining the reasons why ie is putting the sale on in four places instead of concentrating in Salt Lake, Manager Frank Botterill said: "It has very frequently been our experience that when we run an advertisement on used cars we get a number-of inquiries from residents out of town. And yet these Inquiries do not lead to as many aalea as might be desired for the simple reason that there is so little opportunity to demonstrate a used car to anyone living any distance from Salt Lake. It Isn't like selling a new car where you can demonstrate with one and deliver another. You have to show the particular car which your prospect will buy. "In orfler to overcome this difficulty we have decided to distribute our stock of used cars to Murray, Ogden and Provo, and thus make it easy for thousands to comb to a centrally located spot if they desire a demonstration. We are making it clear that 'all the cars advertised in this sale are of standard make, represented in the in termountain territory. They include Hudson Super-SixeDodge Brothers, Buicks, Cadillacs, Overlands, Plerce-ArrowFords, Oaklands, Chandlers and light delivery trucks.
