The beauties of our nehrby canyons and the mountain climbs to Maple Flat and Luna Peak offer beautiful sights to those who have but a short time to spend in our midst and many delightful trips are made through the Slate canyon, over the mountain and down to Maple Flat, then home through Rock canyon every spring, summer and autumn. Provos ideal location at the very foot of the mountain is rapidly giving our beautiful city a wide reputation as a starting point for summer vacations into the hills.
