Utah-Idah- o food stuffs, there are some chickens in the Utah County Poultry associations show at 33 East Cen-te- r street that one would not suspect as having suffered in the least from these unfavorable conditions. These unusual conditions have, however, effected to some extent the number of exhibitors. There are not, perhaps, so many birds on exhibition, but it is believed that there are some that are going to make Judge J. J. Atherton take notice. The association is indeed to be congratulated upon the excellent appearance of the show. Everything is clean and the great number of new pens is a great credit to the association. The association offers the following premiums: A blue ribbon for first a red ribbon for second; and a yellow ribbon for third, nighest scoring pen, cockerel, pullet, cock and hen of each variety. A silver challenge cup, value $50.00, for the highest scoring pen, any variety. The cup to remain the property of the assocition. and to be returned each year for the competition. Won by R. E. Allen, 1908, 1909, 1910; won by John Guy, 1912; won by M. II. Graham, 1913; won by J. W. Daniels. 1911; won by Ernest Oakley, 1915 ; won by Ilier and Thomas, 191G.
