In the afternoon at 4 o'clock a mammoth school childrens parade will be held and in the evening at 8 oclock there will he the dedication of the immense salt arch of welcome and the beautiful Salt Princess parade, and at this hour, too, the first completed unit of Salt Lakes new, street lighting system will be turned on and the block in' which this unit is Installed will be flooded with brilliant light On Tuesday, the second day, at 10:30 in the morning there will be a baby carriage parade and Jh afternoon will be known as Old Folks day, and In the evening at 8 oclock there will be given an immense popular - concert. On Wednesday at 10:30 a. m., there will be a program of manual sports, consisting of drilling and mining con- tests, log sawing and tugs of war. Theprizes will be distributed in the afternoon and at 8 oclock the mag- nificent decorated BUtomobile parade will be held. At 10 oclock that evening there will be a free prize drawing and at nine oclock, the grand finale of tbe Festival of the Salt Princess, a gorgeous masque ball, will be ' held on the streets with thousands of dancers beneath the myriad of colored 'lights, showered With tons of confetti' and tangled in yards upon yards of serpentine.
