Show SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY JANUARY 3, 2001 Community Resolve to serve as Senior Alfred Drye, Sr. Vlora McFall Alfred Drye, Senior, returned to his Heavenly Father on December 27, 2000 in Kanab, Utah after a long illness with diabetes and heart disease. He was born December 24, 1913 in Moccasin, Arizona to Vlora Marie Mattison McFall, age 76, died Dec. 21, 2000 at her home in Kanab, Utah. Born Sept. 10, 1924 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Louisa Huhnel and Fredrick Ray Mattison. On April 30, 1943 she married Frank Drye and Mabel Keith L. McFall, her lifelong Sampson Drye. He was a World sweetheart and companion. War II Veteran serving in the Vlora (or Babe to many) enUS Army, and was stationed in joyed life to its fullest. She was Camp Roberts, Georgia. According to Websters dictionary, a resolution is, a firm decision about an issue, firmness of purpose, a successful conclusion. Currently, nearly 45 Senior Companions in the five county area have already made a firm decision and are serving more than 110 frail elderly and disabled. By making a deliberate and decisive choice to share their time with those in need, Senior Companions take care of simple chores, provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping and other important destinations; and offer contact with the outside world.
