Farewell from County Attorney The following letter was submitted to the Kane County Commission by County Attorney Colin Winchester on 12212000. . Dear Norm, Joe and Steve: Please accept my resignation as Kane County Attorney effective January 7, 2001. 1 have, this day, accepted a position with the Utah Attorney Generals Office, and will begin my new assignment on January 8. It has been a privilege and an honor to represent the citizens of this county for the last six years. I have cherished my association with each of you, and I appreciate your dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence. I have also enjoyed my affiliation with the many dedicated county employees and volunteer citizens who have been committed to improving the quality of life in Kane County.
