During the day, the Rough Riders rode the Rainbow and East Rim Trails on the North Kaibab Ranger District, which revealed spectacular views of the Grand Canyon. As one Rough Rider noted, "The riding trails were beautiful, well maintained and provided excellent viewing access to the canyon. Charles and Daphne Bridges of Boiling Springs, North Carolina, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on the ride this year, complete with cake, photos and guests.
