Show School SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 15, 2000 Reading Marathon $ t ,, 17 ,m 2000 Kanab City Library is hosting Get Wild About Books Reading Marathon 2000", sponsored by KUED Channel 7s Between the Lions. The marathon is designed to encourage children and parents to read together. Kanab City Library will have registration forms for you to participate in the two week reading spree. Anyone 16 or older may take the course. It will last about three months and will certify as Nurses Assistants those who satisfactorily complete the course. Eighty hours are needed to finish this prescribed course. Tuition for the CNA class is $247.50. The book and workbook cost approximately $50. The fees for the state certification written examination and the state certification skills examination total $50. Students will have to pay the fees for state testing at the time of the registration. For those who qualify, the State (Workforce Services) may help with tuition.
