The sixth graders won as Brandon Brown pumped in 23 points to lead the charge. Kade Glazier added 45-2- 3 seven and David Mason five, while Daniel Johnson and Cole Shakespear added four apiece. Jake Leigh was high man for Valley with 11 points. Michael Maxwell added six and Tyrel Roundy four. The seventh grade game was a little closer with Kanab winCody Brunner hit ning 39-3four consecutive three pointers from the top of the key in the middle of the third period to give Kanab a little breathing room. He walked three while striking out two and left after two innings, The Lynx infield trailing committed three errors behind walk By Kent Mason In the opening game Thursday on Fredonias field, the Lynx went up against the Gunnison Bulldogs and the only good thing that can be said about the game from Fredonias standpoint is that it eventually came to an end. The final score read 21 to 0, in favor of Gunnison. The Lynx pitchers could not find the plate and when they did, the Bulldog hitters were hitting it hard.
