Show School SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY MARCH 10, 1999 Agenda Kane School District Board of Education wishes to invite you to their annual Blue Moon dinner dance. American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Tea March 14 An informative article on Girls State which was directed to the attention of high school junior girls was in last weeks issue of the Southern Utah News (March 3, 1999 edition). A. Clair Ford Unit 69 will hold the Girls State Tea at the Kanab City Librarys multi-purpos- e room on Sunday, March 14, 1999 at 4:30 p.rn. It is important that the girls be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. The Girls State experience has a profound effect on the girls, their families and the communities in which they live. The training and insight into the way government works is an invaluable asset to the family and life of anyone lucky enough to attend Girls State. It is mandatory that candidates for Girls State attend both the Unit Girls State Tea and the District 7 Girls State Tea which will be held in May, 1999.
