The following is actual monument reimbursements for last year. Monument funds are mandated for specific expenditures, primarily planning and law enforcement. But like most windfalls, everyone has lofty plans for the money. For the 1999 Kane County grant applications, the different entities were told how much money was available, (approximately $280,000) from the Monument fund. The following are applicant requests and subsequent monetary awards made by the Kane County Commission.
