They were married in Provo, Utah on February 1, 1947. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Laka City LDS Temple. An open house gathering to celebrate tots gokton event is to be held in the Red Hills convention center in Kanab on Saturday, February 1, 1997, from 6 to 8 p.m. Family and friends of the Mayers are cordially invited to attend this gala event No gifts please. Debbie Tait has quit smoking. As of November, 1996 she hasn't had a cigarette. Debbie feels she is committed to staying off of cigarettes. She not only feels better, she looks bet- ter. After realizing that second hand smoke is a health hazard to her son, and that he had a higher risk of getting colds, bronchitis, pneumonia and middle ear infection, she was determined to quit Debbie quit (coid turkey). She's a volunteer with the Southwest Center and would like to work more against drugs and alcohol abuse. We hope she can be a example to other smokers who want to quit. Southwest Center has several extend our appreciation to Judy Mowbray and her unknown helpers who contrib- uted to this auspicious occasion with their wonderful cook- ies.
