I feel my main qualification is my desire to serve, and my willingness to listen to, and implement, to the best of my ability, the desires of those I represent. 3) My main goal is for the students to have a positive and successful learning experience so they can continue to excel and succeed in life. 4) I see an increasing sense of apathy and hopelessness in the students and community. While we do have problems here, especially in regards to future employment, I feel that the answer is to pull together to provide opportunities in education so that our children will be prepared to meet the future with eagerness and hope in finding solutions to the problems facing us. 5) Because we are a small community, our teachers and staff know the students and parents personally, as well as professionally. They are concerned about the schools and the students and are dedicated to helping our children get the best education possible. 6) I feel that communication and trust between the board, the teachers and administrators and community, needs to be improved. I feel that the only way our students will get a quality education is through cooperation with eveiyone working to-get- and supporting the entire school system. 7) I would like to see an expanded curriculum in order to keep the students interested in school. Ideally everyone in the district would help make this a reality by supporting the students and the entire school system in achieving excellence in education, by attending and supporting extracurricular activities, and by helping our children to feel valuable and excited for the future.
