Students take the hour-lon- g assessment when they register to take the test. Dr. Gary Dunford, director of counseling and testing at SUSC, indicates that the inventory helps the student decide upon a career choice. The inventory is also used, he said, by the college in the development of student profiles. ACT forms can be obtained at the SUSC Counseling Center, Administration Building 102, or from high school counselors. Information about the test--anabout the many additional counseling services available at SUSC-c- an be obtained by calling Town of Fredonia for the use of the library basement. He Is In Explorer Post 565. d 586-542- ORDERVILLE NEWS KHS Choir Returns From Magic Mountain vM v f m im The Kanab High School Concert Choir under the direction of William P. Roberts recently returned from a trip to Los Angeles, California to participate in the Magic Mountain Music Festival. Participating in the Educational Enrichment category of the choral festival, the KHS singers performed three selections for their adjudicators. Following their performance, the head adjudicator, Doug Anderson, worked with the students for 10 minutes emphasizing strong points of the choirs performance as well as suggesting areas for continued - s The three adjudicators then awarded the choir a bronze medal for their performance in this division. While at the festival the KHS students had the opportunity to hear a variety of choral ensembles from different parts of the United States including three high school improvement. show choirs, a junior high school show choir, a concert choir, and a boys choir. The four-datrip was not all work and no play, however. The choirs visit itinerary included a five-hoto Universal Studios on Saturday. r Included in the visit was a tram tour of studio back-lot- s and filming areas where students saw the sets for such TV shows as The Jeffersons and All In The Family. They also visited here with her. The Brian Gouldings are the parents of a son born Sunday. The little lad has three brothers, who think its pretty neat to have another brother. Proud grandparents are the LaFay Colemans and the Clyde Gouldings. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hepworth visited with their daughter, Keola, and family in Arizona. Visiting with Rena Tait on Tuesday were her brothers LaVell and Quinn from Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Crofts of Richfield visited here Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Foyd Adams of Price, Utah also visited with Rena Tait on Thursday. Eulege Hepworth of Page, Arizona, Verla Troy of Orderville, Sherrie Brinkerhoff of Glendale all went to Salt Lake City Friday to visit their father and mother, the Rollan Hoyts. Dorothea Barton of St. George visited with her two sons and families, the Kyle Bartons and DeLynn Bartons. Its always good to see Dorothea. Mr. and mrs. Wilbur Covington of Mt. Carmel and Mr. and Mrs. John DeMille attended a District Postmaster meeting and dinner at the Drifter in Springdale, where Vauna was awarded a plaque for her 24 years of service as Postmaster of Mt.
