Well, 18 holes of golf, of course. Garlon Maxwell has really been busy programming the Last Friday was very eventful. The biology class visited with Mr. Tone Blackburn to learn something of bees. Mr. Blackburn explained all about the insects to the students and then showed them his bee colony. Friday night, the FFA ard FHA joined forces to throw tt e annual FFA-FH- opening social. Carol Lee Russell, the FHA president and Delynn Lamb, the FFA president, planned a great evening for the members of the two clubs. There was plenty of food and activities for the members. Jolaine Johnson, this years band majorette, led the band in an entertaining evening. October 4. The band performed a marching show that was a first for this area. On October 7, the band took their show to Cougar Stadium in Provo to the BYU marching festival. The crowd there was quite a bit bigger than any crowd the Buffalo Marching Band has ever faced before but it did not concern the band members one bit as they gave it their best show. Presently, the students are enjoying the annual L'EA holiday. Many of the kids are roaming the streets uttering L'EA carols and a very few have even been seen harvesting their L'EA trees. Will Mrs. Averett's girl golfers go pro? Did John Heaton study for the German test tomorrow? And will Brent Drew ever shave half decently?
