The chart indicating the approved lines of responsibility will be revised for placement in the teachers handbook. Two requests for early entrance to kindergarten have been received. The school counselor will give the kindergarten admittance test. The results will be given to the board for a decision on whether or not to admit them to school this year. The opening school social will be held August 23 with Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Nelson in charge of arrangements. Nelson, Fredonia High School Principal with his wife, Patricia. Long, with wife Wendy. On August 15th Clinton L. Long took over his office at the Fredonia High School as Counselor for the Moccasin-Fredoni- a School District. He comes to Fredonia from Nashua, Montana. His background in the field of education started with a Bachelor Degree in English from the University of Montana in 1960. He went on to get his Masters in Education and Counseling in 1968, also from the U. of M. He spent several years as counselor in the school districts of Sharlo, Montana and Salmon, Idaho. Mr. Glen B. Nelson is the new High School Principal for Fredonia He took over his new job and has been working steadily since the latter part of Long was born and raised in Penn. He is Dixonville, married and his wife, Wendy Kate, also attended the U. of M. She was born and reared in Great Falls, Montana. The Longs have two small chilis 4 dren, both and Christopher is . They are living in Jackie Lynch's home on Kaibab Drive. In his Mr. Long likes to go backpacking, read and write. He has had some poems published. The Longs are members of the L.D.S. Church. boys-Br-n- July. The Nelsons came to Fredonia from Thatcher, Arizona where Glen had been Principal for four years. His educational background consists of a Bachelor Degree from BYU with course requirements toward a Masters in Human Development, Family Relations Guidance and Counseling also from BYU. He completed the requirements for a Masters Degree in Educational Administration at the University of Arizona. He has taught in the Granite School District, at Salt Lake City, the Jordan School District at Sandy, Utah; spent three years as a teacher in American Samoa, five years in the Clifton District at Clifton, Arizona and his four years at Thatcher. Glen was born and reared in Provo, Utah. His parents, who are retired, still live there. Mrs. Nelson is Patricia. She was also born in Utah but was reared in Dallas, Texas. The Nelsons have purchased the Dale Avant home and moved in the last week of July. They are members of the L.D.S. Church. Glen's favorite pastime activities have changed somewhat, he used to play a lot of tennis and volleyball but now he likes to listen to music and he reads a great deal.
