Last week, on September 23, a number of speech students attended a clinic at Highland High in Salt Lake City. They attended work shops concerning Drama and Forensic skills. Friday, September 29, the Valley High Band will load the bus at 6:00 a.m. and travel to Salina to participate in the Region 8 Marching Festival. The Band took 1st place in competition last year and hope to win again this year. Saturday afternoon the volleyball team will go to our P.E. teachers hometown, Enter- prise, to play their first volleyball of the year with the Wolves. Mr. and Mrs. Rex McArthur went to St. George Saturday to attend the wedding reception of his niece. While there they enjoyed a visit with many old friends they had not seen for some time.
