Show TWO CITIZENS CALLEB TO GREAT in memory of nancy 8 Pete raon of perron utah who departed thia life april 12 1910 deceased was born in bahnam sanpete county july 21 1857 she was the daughten daugh tel of shop J L black and synthia alred black she was married to andrew peterson nov 23 1875 at enosh millard co and dovd to ferron 1890 she leaves a husband ana eleven children to mourn her loss aso a host of friends the officers of the ferron relief society offer the following resolutions resolutions of respect to the memoir of slater nancy a member and teacher of the ferron rel ef society who dei arted this life april 12 1910 whereas after a long and severe ill nes our worthy and beloved sia er been callad home to heavenly i ather therefore be it resolved that wea the sisters of the relief society do sincere 1 sympathize with the bereaved family and we mourn for one who was in every respect worthy of our love and esteem I 1 resolved that in her death we lecog aze the loss of a true saint and a laith tul and though she has left us I 1 foi a short time yet we know that all I 1 is well with her for she has fought the good fight ind has kept thy faith and there is a crown of await ing her in the kingdom of god she has gone to a rest so sweet to all the faithful given oh may we learn through eartly ife the same sweet bbs in heaven may her devoted life on earth of patience hope and love aldus to gain that prize of worth brom him who rules above resolved that the resolutions be ed on the records of our relief society and a copy be sent to the bereaved family mrs M J king pres olive sec john barton was born at salt lake city jan 20 1855 died at ferron april 24 1910 after an illness of four weeks at an early age he moved with which was then a er s family to manti small settlement here he gained ex in subduing the wilderness and cor averting it into hab table country and he helped fight the indians who I 1 were troublesome in those early days march 1878 john barton mar I 1 ned martha boswell of nephi they lived in sterling utah until 1876 when I 1 tl ey moved lo 10 ferron where they have lived sine mr barton was engaged in farming and in the summer spent much time logging and saw fulling he was a i hard worker and was especially good at moving buildings A wife and five children survive mr birton one child having died J i infancy the surviving children are M 11 e IS chistensen lucy uben clyd i hazel aid owen barton the funeral was haid Ved nesda april 27 at the social hall |
