Kanab Drug. by Don Ellison The Fredonia Lynx baseball team met the AshFork Spartans at Fredonia last Friday in r t.he third league game of the season. The Lynx were obliged to bow to the Spartans, however, with scores of 2 to 1 and 10 to 4. These were the first losses for the Lynx team and the boys all played a good game, but the Spartans were able to get in the most runs. The AshFork team is considered the strongest in the north Class C league and could be the state chamdouble-heade- pions. Mrs. Kezia Brooksby of Fredonia, went to Hawaii as a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill of Provo. She will be gone about 10 days. Greg and Teresa Brooksby returned home Saturday evening after spending a week at Colo.
